    Common Myths

Myth 1: EAAs Lead to Weight Gain

Truth: Gaining weight is not a direct result of taking essential amino acids (EAAs) alone. They are indeed essential for the production of muscle proteins and general health. But, weight gain could happen if ingested in excess without reducing total calorie intake. For weight control, it's critical to include EAAs in a balanced diet and take overall calorie intake into account.

Myth 2: EAAs are only for men, not women

Truth: Both men and women can benefit from essential amino acids (EAAs). Regardless of gender, they are essential for muscle protein synthesis, recuperation, and general health. The amount of protein required varies depending on a person's body weight, degree of exercise, and fitness objectives. Women who want to improve their muscle mass or athletic performance may find that EAAs are a useful supplement.

Myth 3: BCAAs are enough with no need for EAAs

Truth: Essential amino acids (EAAs) offer the whole range of amino acids required for good health, whereas branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) are helpful for the synthesis of muscle protein. If one just takes BCAAs, there might be gaps in their intake of important amino acids, which could restrict the body's capacity to repair and rebuild tissues.

Myth 4: EAAs should ONLY be consumed on workout days

Truth: EAAs are beneficial on days when you work out as well as days when you don't. Even though they promote muscle growth and post-exercise recovery, eating them on non-workout days can help maintain a continuous supply of essential amino acids for total protein synthesis.
